SIER Technologies Inc. (doing business as Daily Dove) ("Daily Dove," "we," "our," and/or "us") values the privacy of individuals who use our application, website (including https://dailydove.app), and related services (collectively, our "Services"). This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from users of our Services ("you" or "your"). As used in this Privacy Policy, "personal information" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures described in this Privacy Policy. Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Service.

Personal Information We Collect

We may collect a variety of personal information from or about you or your devices from various sources, as described below. Where applicable, we indicate whether and why you must provide us with your personal information, as well as the consequences of failing to do so. If you do not provide your personal information when requested, you may not be able to use our Services if that personal information is necessary to provide you with our Services or if we are legally required to collect it.

A. Personal Information You Provide to Us

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address, depending on the sign-in method you choose.

Voice and Content Interactions. When you interact with the Daily Dove character, we may receive audio information (including voice recordings), text, and any other content you choose to share with the Services ("Prompts"), which generate responses based on your Prompts ("Outputs"). If you include personal information in your Prompts, we will collect that information, and this information may be reproduced in the Outputs. We process your voice solely to transcribe your words and generate the Dove's responses. Your audio is processed in real time and is not stored as an audio recording after processing; we may retain text transcripts and brief summaries of your sessions to provide continuity and personalization ("memory") across future conversations. We do not create a voiceprint or other biometric identifier from your audio, and we do not use your voice to identify you.

Prayer Activity. We collect information about the prayer topics you select, devotional content you engage with, your streak and progress, and related activity within the Services in order to personalize and continue your experience across sessions and devices.

Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive personal information about you. For example, when you contact us for customer support purposes, we may receive your name, email address, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide. When you communicate with us, third-party vendors may receive and store these communications on our behalf.

Payment Information. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. We receive subscription status and entitlement information (such as whether your subscription is active, in a trial period, or canceled) to determine your access level. We do not receive or store your payment card information.

Sensitive Information. Because Daily Dove is a faith-based prayer companion, certain information you provide — such as your prayer topics, the devotional content you engage with, and the contents of your Prompts — may reveal your religious or philosophical beliefs and may relate to your mental or physical health or wellbeing. This information is treated as "sensitive" or "special category" personal information under certain laws. We collect and use this information only to provide the Services to you and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and, where required by applicable law, only with your consent. See "Your Choices," "Notice to California Residents," and "Consumer Health Data" below for additional rights and disclosures relating to this information.

B. Personal Information We Collect When You Use Our Services

Device Information. We receive limited information about the device and software you use to access our Services, such as IP address, operating system version, app version, and general device type. We use your IP address only for purposes such as security, fraud prevention, and delivering our Services, and not to determine your precise location.

Usage Information. To help us understand how you use our Services and to help us improve them, we automatically receive information about your interactions with our Services, such as the features you use, the content you view, and the dates and times of your visits.

Analytics and Similar Technologies. We use a small number of service providers to understand how our Services are used (for example, which features are opened and whether a subscription offer is shown) so that we can improve them. Our website may use cookies for basic functionality and analytics. We do not use these technologies to track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use them for advertising.

How We Use the Personal Information We Collect

We use the personal information we collect:

Legal Bases for Processing European Personal Information

If you are located in the European Economic Area ("EEA") or the United Kingdom ("UK"), we only process your personal information when we have a valid "legal basis," including as set forth below.

How We Disclose the Personal Information We Collect

Partners and Affiliates. We may disclose any information we receive to our partners, corporate affiliates, parents, or subsidiaries for any purpose described in this Privacy Policy.

Vendors and Service Providers. We may disclose any information we receive to vendors and service providers retained in connection with the provision of our Services, including providers of infrastructure, authentication, voice processing, storage, delivery, and security.

AI Service Providers. We may disclose information we receive to vendors that provide artificial intelligence and voice synthesis services that power our character interactions and generate Outputs.

Analytics and Subscription Providers. We use analytics and subscription-management providers to collect and process limited usage and subscription data so that we can operate, secure, and improve the Services.

As Required by Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your personal information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: (a) comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; (b) respond to your requests; or (c) protect your, our, or others' rights, property, or safety. For the avoidance of doubt, the disclosure of your personal information may occur if you post any objectionable content on or through our Services.

Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. We may use, transfer, disclose, or otherwise process your personal information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company, or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets. The use of your information following any of these events will be governed by the provisions of this Privacy Policy in effect at the time the applicable information was collected.

Consent. We may also disclose your information with your permission.

Your Choices

Your European Privacy Rights. If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have additional rights described below.

You may exercise these rights by contacting us using the contact details at the end of this Privacy Policy. Before fulfilling your request, we may ask you to provide reasonable information to verify your identity. Please note that there are exceptions and limitations to each of these rights, and that while any changes you make will be reflected in active user databases instantly or within a reasonable period of time, we may retain personal information for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so.

Notice to California Residents

This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA"). Terms used in this section have the meanings given to them in the CCPA.

Categories of Personal Information We Collect. In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email address, IP address, and device identifiers); customer records information (such as account and contact details); commercial information (such as subscription status and transaction history); internet or network activity (such as usage and interaction data); audio information (such as voice recordings and other content in your Prompts); inferences drawn from the above; and sensitive personal information, as described below.

Sensitive Personal Information. We collect personal information that reveals your religious or philosophical beliefs (such as your prayer topics and the contents of your Prompts) and the contents of certain communications. We use and disclose this information only to provide the Services, to maintain security and integrity, and for other purposes permitted by the CCPA that do not require offering the right to limit. We do not use sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.

Sources and Purposes. We collect personal information from the sources, and use it for the purposes, described in "Personal Information We Collect" and "How We Use the Personal Information We Collect" above.

Disclosures of Personal Information. In the preceding 12 months, we have disclosed the categories of personal information described above to our service providers and vendors (such as providers of infrastructure, authentication, voice processing, analytics, and security) for the business purposes described in "How We Disclose the Personal Information We Collect."

We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. We have not sold or shared the personal information of California residents, including the personal information of any minors under 16 years of age, in the preceding 12 months.

Your California Rights. Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to: (a) request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it; (b) request deletion of personal information we have collected from you; (c) request correction of inaccurate personal information; and (d) not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights. You may submit a request by emailing us at support@dailydove.app or by using the controls in Settings → Account within the app. We will verify your request using information associated with your account before responding. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.

Shine the Light. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Consumer Health Data

This section provides additional disclosures for residents of Washington, Nevada, Connecticut, and other states with consumer health data laws (such as the Washington My Health My Data Act). Because you may share information through the Services that relates to your mental or physical health or wellbeing — for example, when you select prayer topics or describe what you are praying about — some of the information we collect may be considered "consumer health data" under these laws.

What We Collect and Why. The consumer health data we may collect includes the prayer topics you select and the contents of your Prompts to the extent they relate to your health or wellbeing. We collect and use this data to provide and personalize the Services, to generate the Dove's responses, and for the other purposes described in "How We Use the Personal Information We Collect," in each case consistent with your consent.

How We Disclose It. We may disclose consumer health data to service providers and vendors who process it on our behalf and under contract (such as providers of infrastructure, voice processing, and security) solely to provide the Services. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share or disclose it for advertising purposes. We will not disclose your consumer health data except with your consent, to a processor acting on our behalf, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Your Rights. You have the right to confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data and to access that data; the right to withdraw your consent to its collection and sharing; and the right to request that we delete it. You may exercise these rights by emailing support@dailydove.app. We will verify your request before responding. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and if you have concerns about the outcome you may contact the attorney general in your state.

Third Parties

Our Services may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities on these third-party services or any information you disclose to these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

Retention

When you request that we do so, we take measures to delete your personal information or keep it in a form that does not permit identifying you when this personal information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we process it, unless we are required by law to keep this information for a longer period. When we process personal information for our own purposes, we determine the retention period taking into account various criteria, such as the type of services provided to you, the nature and length of our relationship with you, possible re-enrollment with the Services, the impact on the Services we provide to you if we delete some personal information from or about you, and mandatory retention periods provided by law and the statute of limitations.

Security

We make reasonable efforts to protect your personal information by using physical and electronic safeguards designed to improve the security of the personal information we maintain. However, as no electronic transmission or storage of information can be entirely secure, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your personal information.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended only for adults aged 18 and older, and no part of our Services is directed to children or minors. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you learn that someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, please alert us at support@dailydove.app and we will take steps to delete it.

International Visitors

Our Services are hosted in the United States ("U.S."). If you choose to use our Services from the EEA, the UK, or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the U.S. for storage and processing. We may transfer personal information from the EEA or the UK to the U.S. and other third countries based on European Commission-approved or UK Government-approved Standard Contractual Clauses, or otherwise in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Also, we may transfer your personal information from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating our Services. By providing any information, including personal information, on or through our Services, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing.

Delete Your Information

If you'd like to delete your information from the Services, you may do so from Settings → Account within the app, or by sending a message to support@dailydove.app with your name and the email address associated with your account.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We will post any adjustments to the Privacy Policy on this page, and the revised version will be effective when it is posted. If we materially change the ways in which we use or disclose personal information previously collected from you through our Services, we will notify you through our Services, by email, or other communication.
